Error: 403 Forbidden, You must accept the license terms.

Problem

When accessing artifacts via Datameer's REST API, the following error occurs:

Cause

The user account never logged into Datameer to accept the Terms of Service.

Solution

Either log into the GUI and accept the Terms of Service, or edit the file

<datameer-install-path>/conf/skin-default.properties

and uncomment

# -- system related properties --
# force license agreement for each new user
force.license-agreement=true
