Salesforce Connector Error: Could not get access-token

Problem

When one tries to configure a Salesforce connector, they get the following error:

Could not get access-token for code 'aPrxTSLL5Knr5FtVuz9C0sI3mQIeLTxJuk8oYf9h45KXYg9INatdkhuVldbVpZqLJM.v9.3bwQ==': 
invalid_grant, authentication failure

Cause

This issue is due to limitation that Salesforce connector within Datameer is configured to access production environment only via Salesforce Production

Solution

Take a look at the Host setting in connection details and see if it is pointing to a Sandbox environment such as Salesforce Sandbox If so, change it to the default URL: na1.salesforce.com After clicking the Authorize Datameer to retrieve data button, it should redirect to a page starting with Salesforce Production
