S3 Connector does not work for Canadian Central Region

Hi, I get this error message when trying to set up a connection to S3

 

The authorization mechanism you have provided is not supported. Please use AWS4-HMAC-SHA256.

 

Some googling has led me to believe the s3 adaptor has not been configured for the new Canadian Central region? Please do correct me f I'm wrong. 

Any help appreciated! :)

  Hello Nikhil,

  the message means that Import Job from S3 Connector should use Amazon Signature Version 4, since it is a pre-requirement for your region or for Protecting Data Using Server-Side Encryption with AWS KMS–Managed Keys (SSE-KMS). 

  It seems that AWS Signature Version 4 support is not implemented in the Datameer version you are using. It will be available in one of the latest bug fix releases, e.g. 5.11.33.
