How to stop Datameer from converting excel Text to Scientific Notation

Does anyone have a good suggestion for this? I have a column in Excel with values like 9HY as well as 100798325. I need them as strings but Datameer converts the large numbers to 1.00798325E8 which causes an expression to break later in the process.

I've tried changing the column type in Excel to Text with no luck. Please let me know.

  Hello Dominic.

  You could to try to save the excel sheet with large numbers as csv file (double check that there is no values in scientific notation in this csv) and import this file into Datameer. If you need these values as strings, choose the type of the column as STRING in Datameer ImportJob wizard.

  Thanks, Konsta. I tried going the .csv route but it also moved it to scientific. I found this online and it solved my problem. This issue is closed for me.
