Broken Connectors

The LinkedIn Connector is flat-out broken and the Facebook connector is using an outdated API. When will these things be updated?

  Hello Thomas,
  Thanks for the feedback on the issues you've been having with our social media connectors. We already have a development ticket open to resolve the issue with the Facebook connector.
  That said, LinkedIn has changed their OAuth credentials policy and no longer offers this type of access. The LinkedIn connector has been removed from the product as of Datameer 5.9 and our Documentation will be updated shortly to reflect the changes.

  I am using the trial version installed on the virtual machine and still does not work connector to Facebook. I wanted to show it as an Datameer advantage, unfortunately left me with only the Twitter social networks.

  Karol, the Facebook connector is limited to the old Facebook API (FQL) in our available releases. The implementation of the new Facebook API (Graph API) connector is expected to be available in a future release.
