    Hi Enaven,

     

    Good question. 

     

    This was an issue in the past which was met with Datameer's Smart Sampling. This method better ensures that analysts will not experience a blank page like you are describing. 

     

    However, if you are experiencing a blank worksheet which you believe should show data, run or re-run your workbook and then check back on that join sheet to see the results.

    Thanks for the immediate reply. I went through the link you shared for smart sampling.

    According to the link,  The optimized preview(smart samples )can only be generated only when workbook is run. does this (run) mean processing of the workbook?

    Yes, running the workbook means processing the workbook. It will regenerate the Smart Sample when it is run and the joined records would expect to get populated if there wasn't any in the original sample set.
