Support for REST as a connection

Today there is a Custom Protocol (including http/https) connector that could be used for retrieving data from a http/https call.

However it is limited since it is not possible to for example set the headers for the call, example the Accept value.

It would be a nice feature to be able to have the Custom Protocol or a specific connector that could be used against REST endpoints where it is possible to set headers and other parameters.

That would open up for additional data sources, such as MarkLogic Server.
