Does Datameer connect to jethro

Hi,

I have been using Datameer for an year now. Currently in our organsation, we are trying to evaluate various other BI tools along with Datameer as to how they support connecting through jethro. So, I would like to know if Datameer supports jethro connectivity. Please advise.

  Hello Akhila,

  Currently Datameer doesn't have native connection to Jethro. But, depends on your requirements to the process, you may try the following approaches:

  • As Jethro keeps all it's data in HDFS, it might be possible to read files directly via Datameer HDFS connection.
    
    
  • Use Jethro JDBC drivers to connect to Database from Datameer. The following documentation might be useful Install Database Drivers.
    
    
  • Also it is possible to leverage Datameer SDK Plugin to create your own connection.
