Hello,

 

I wanted to know how can I remove the timestamp from a date in Datameer?

There is a column in my workbook which has date with timestamp. I want to have a column next to it with only date. Which is the fucntion that I can use and how?

Can someone please help?

  Hello Priyanka,

  In case I've got the request properly, I would suggest to apply FORMATDATE function to the column next to your date with timestamp and set required patters.

  For example, if in column A you have "Dec 12, 2016 01:00:00 AM", apply formula "FORMATDATE(#A;"MMM dd yyyy")" to the next column to get there "Dec 12 2016".

  I tried his formula but it tells me its an Illegal Aurguement exception

  Hello Priyanka,

  Could you please provide example of the value you have in your Workbook, a screenshot will fit the best.

  Also, what Datameer version do you use?
