Datameer to impala export

i am getting below error in datameer export to impala

 

RuntimeException: [Simba][ImpalaJDBCDriver](500051) ERROR processing query/statement. Error Code: 0, SQL state: TStatus(statusCode:ERROR_STATUS, sqlState:HY000, errorMessage:AnalysisException: Syntax error in line 1: SELECT * FROM "aim_test_reporting"."cfd_ct... ^ Encountered: STRING LITERAL Expected: IDENTIFIER CAUSED BY: Exception: Syntax error ), Query: SELECT * FROM "aim_test_reporting"."cfd_ctsawd" AS "aim_test_reporting"."cfd_ctsawd" LIMIT 1

  Hello Deepak.

  I would like to confirm if I properly understand the issue description. Please correct me if something is missed. 

  • You have an Impala JDBC driver installed in Datameer and Connection based on this driver.
  • You are trying to export a dataset from Datameer into Impala, using this Connection.
  • Such ExportJob fails with mentioned errorMessage:AnalysisException

  May I ask you to address the next questions, please.

  • Were you able to export data into Impala via this Connection before and if yes, were there any recent changes made to Datameer or environment configuration?
  • If you were able to export data before, whether all ExportJobs are failing now or there is only one that is impacted?
  • What is the size of data you are trying to export?
  • Can you try to create a test ExportJob and export e.g. only 10 small records?

  It would be also great if you could provide full job.log for failed ExportJob.

  Is the Impala JDBC driver working in Datameer v 7.0?

  Hi Arturo,

  Yes JDBC should be working for IMPALA sources.
