Excel in text format to import
I am presuming that its impossible to import excel files in text format without prior editing.
Right now I have file that I have to do text to columns first and then change extension from xls to csv in order to be able to import it into DM
Is there a way to import it straight as is without editing?

Datameer supports direct ingestion of XLSX files (2007 and after), just choose Excel Workbook (2007 or newer) as a file type.
